Are you tough enough to get Up The Buff?
25km and 16km trail running events held in the beautiful Currumbin Valley on Queensland's Gold Coast. With challenging yet achievable courses along the buffer track separating the NSW/QLD border this is a unique event not to be missed.
The 3km Dash 4 Duchenne road run is also back for 2019, and is open for kids aged 8 - 14 only. Why is it called the Dash 4 Duchenne? Read on!
- FOR A GOOD CAUSE -
Up The Buff Trail Race is supporting the Aidan Richardson Trust (ART). Aidan is a local boy who is fighting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and what better way to draw attention to a muscle-destroying disease that affects kids than by getting kids moving.
All entry payments for the 3km Dash for Duchenne will go to the Aidan Richardson Trust, as well as 10% of the entry payments received for the 25 & 16km Up The Buff Trail Race events. You will also be asked if you wish to chip in a little extra during registration (because we know you are awesome and generous people). Doesn't helping others make you feel good?
Aidan's family will also be in attendance hosting a fundraising BBQ. Make sure you throw in a picnic blanket, bring some change along for a snag, and enjoy the festivities of the Up The Buff Trail Race events while supporting a good cause.
